Cypress pencil with small flower wooden mosaic
The small flowers on these pure cypress pencils, which are gentle on the hands, were applied with 2mm-edge wooden pieces through wooden mosaic work by Mr Gin, our wooden mosaic artisan and a certified craftsman in Hakone.
The cypress fragrance that spreads whenever you sharpen the pencil helps you to relax, and is also said to have deodorizing and humidity-controlling effects, so we've included a small pouch to store the pencil shavings so that you can enjoy them for a while even after sharpening the pencil.
These pencils offer a gentle writing feeling. Their lead is a soft 2B, which is convenient for draftsmanship and drawing sketches.
A pencil that's just a little bit luxurious. It's an excellent article to give to someone important to you.
