The southern Japanese hemlock is an evergreen conifer classified under the pine family and the tsuga genus.
It is on the light and soft side, but has a beautiful straight grain and dense texture.
The inside of the makeup box lid is a mirror.

The southern Japanese hemlock wood has been given a polyurethane surface coating. You can also place it in a corner of your dining room.
