As it ages, the more you use it, the darker the color and the more texture it becomes.
Do not polish with metal abrasives (such as metal polish) or polishing cloths. The red paint may peel off.
Do not leave it exposed to moisture or acidic substances. Discoloration may occur.
In rare cases, green rust (patina) may occur during use. It is non-toxic and harmless, but if you are concerned about it, please take care of it as follows. Apply a mixture of vinegar and salt to a cloth and rub it directly onto the area where the patina is forming. Afterwards, wash it with a neutral detergent and dry it thoroughly.
Be careful not to get injured by the edges or corners of the ruler.
If you press the edge or corner of the ruler against the fabric and slide it, it may cause the fabric to tear or color to bleed.
Do not use at high temperatures. There is a risk of burns.
Leaving the ruler bent for a long time may cause it to deform.
