A cute pin cushion with a round shape
"Hinoki Pincushion" is a compact pincushion that resembles a tree nut.
We use durable Aizu momen for the fabric. Aizu Momen is a traditional cotton fabric from Mutsu-Kaizu District (present-day western Fukushima Prefecture), and has been widely used as noragi since ancient times. It has a rustic texture with a smooth texture and colorful dyeing.
The filling is made of cotton that prevents the needles from rusting.
The wooden pedestal, which has a pleasant scent of cypress, is made by hand one by one using cypress from the Kii Mountains.
You can also wear it as a necklace by threading a string through the leather tag.
It comes in a bag decorated with traditional Japanese patterns that bring good luck, and is also recommended as a gift.
