Oisei Foundry

In 1975, "Nanbu Tekki" was first certified as a traditional craft.
Iwate Prefecture, which is blessed with abundant resources and convenient water transportation via the Kitakami River, has developed casting manufacturing since ancient times.
Today, this tradition has been passed down in the Mizusawa and Morioka regions, and the castings produced in these two regions are called "Nanbu Tekki."
Oisei Foundry, located in Mizusawa, began operations in 1916.
We value the spirit of challenge by creating new forms of traditional techniques and continuing to make proposals.
