Ink-shaped komon bean plate
"Indamate" refers to printing such as "paper pattern printing (stenciling techniques)" and "copper plate transfer," and is a technology that has developed rapidly since the Meiji period, allowing for mass production by hand without a specialized painter.

This led to the spread of painted porcelain dishes throughout Japan, and the dietary style of ordinary people has undergone a major change.
Even though painting was made by printing, this technique at the time was prone to many drawbacks in the design, such as blemishes, blurring, discoloration, and uneven color, and in recent years it has become a technique that has only been used in a limited number of cases.
However, some people who love pottery think that its flaws are what makes them taste, and that is what makes them attractive, and of course Kurashiki Design is the same as those people.
It's not suitable for customers who want a perfect finish, but I still want to use this technique to make dishes.

Please be careful - About Gosu and Intrusion
The printing method for this product is to transfer the image to unglazed fabric from a transfer paper printed on washi paper using a pigment called Gosu.
The plates on the stamped handprints that are transferred to copper plates show scratches, bleeds, fading, and uneven color of the pattern that are created by hand.

Also, cracks seen on the surface are called penetration and only enter the glaze, so there is no need to worry about the strength.
Due to the finished color and texture, we deliberately use it as a glaze that matches this product.

In that sense, stamp-sized plates are not suitable for customers who prefer a perfect finish.
However, for customers with certain specific preferences, it is a unique dish that makes even their shortcomings seem lovely and appealing.
