Gomi Taro's clock started out as he fell in love at first sight, saying, "I want to sell it in our store!" when he saw the warm, plump form typical of Gomi.

To begin with, Gomi Taro cut cardboard and hanged the walls to enjoy in his studio.
Their appearance was so cute that it felt like they had come out of a picture book, so they received permission from Gomi to commercialize it on the spot, and it was a finished product. This is a true story that made me laugh "Hehehe."

The creators were most particular about Gomi Taro's simple yet complicated shape.
Currently, the production and processing is done by a workshop craftsman in Nagano Prefecture. Everything from cutting to painting is handmade.

The finish is a satisfying item, with Made in Japan!

Gomi Taro GOMI TARO
Born in Tokyo in 1945. A leading picture book writer in Japan. Completed the Kuwasawa Design Institute ID Department.
He has started his creative activities mainly focusing on picture books from the world of industrial and graphic design, and has released many unique works.
His works have exceeded 400 volumes and have been translated in over 20 countries around the world.
He has won numerous awards, including the Sankei Children's Publishing Culture Award, the Bologna International Picture Book Original Art Exhibition, and the Roadside Stone Literature Award.
